About

What’s this Istanbul blog about?

Love.Life.Istanbul captures the meanderings of love and life in Istanbul from an expat’s perspective.  It aims to inform other expats of the things to expect in an often confusing, yet exotic life in Turkey. There’s a mixture of serious life lessons, humor and hopefully helpful tips for Istanbul expats to enjoy. Love.Life.Istanbul is also my attempt to record my life in Istanbul with the aim of publishing an uber successful novel in the future…inshallah! To give feedback, suggest I review a local event or interview you about your Istanbul-related service or product please email expatinistanbul@gmail.com PS. Love.Life.Istanbul – is also secret code to say I am completely in love with the city and all its life lessons and challenges – I do not mean to offend any readers.

  1. sounds interesting. Why would you offend anybody by saying you’re in love with Istanbul. We’re planning on going there next year so I am looking forward to reading your posts 🙂

  2. I am looking into accepting a job and relocating to Istanbul. I was wondering if I may be able to email you some questions/concerns I have and get your advice/opinions.

  4. I read 30 signs you’ve settled as an expat in Istanbul. :-)) Fantastic – I loved it.

After reading it, I was curious about who you were! There is no clue about yourself :-(( It would be quite nice to have an idea about you too.

By the way, I would like to invite you to one of our “Curious Souls Get Together” meetings that I organise once in a month within the context of Internations (http://isilblog.wordpress.com/). If you happen to be a “Curious Soul” too, it would be wonderful to have you among us.

    With my kindest regards
    Isil the Curious Soul 🙂
